Lynn Chadwick sent this 1959 sculpture to Spoleto, on the occasion of the “Sculptures In The City” exhibition organized by Giovanni Carandente for the 1962 Festival Of Two Worlds. Along with this bronze, still perfectly integrated with the splendid frame of piazza del Duomo, the American artist also exhibited “Two Winged Figures”, in painted iron, purposely created for the event.
